# Wi-Fi

GhostMe can change your location without a cable once your iPhone has been set up over a cable.

1. Set up your iPhone over a [cable](https://www.getghostme.com/docs/connection/cable) once.
2. Put your iPhone and computer on the same Wi-Fi network. Guest networks often block this.
3. On a Mac, click **Continue** when GhostMe explains Wi-Fi, then click **Allow** when macOS asks to find devices on your local network.

When it's set up, **Settings** > **General** > **Wi-Fi** shows **Enabled** next to **Use devices over Wi-Fi**.

> Clicked **Don't Allow** on a Mac? Open **System Settings** > **Privacy & Security** > **Local Network** and turn on **GhostMe**.

## Continue on Wi-Fi

With **Continue on Wi-Fi** on (the default), unplugging the cable keeps your location and GhostMe switches to Wi-Fi.
